Every
family we serve is charged a basic price for our consultation
and supervision of required details, such as completing
arrangements with the family, preparing the death
certificate and delivering it to attending physician
or coroner, securing the burial, cremation or transit
permits from the Department of Health and
coordinating
arrangements with the cemetery or crematory of the
family's choice. For most funeral services, there
are charges for the preparation of the deceased, the
use of our facilities and the use of funeral-related
equipment. There are charges, too, for the use of
our motor equipment: the casket coach, limousines,
when desired by the family, and the car used for transporation
of the deceased to the mortuary.
A
casket or other container for the deceased can be
a significant part of the cost of a funeral...or a
very small part. We carry an extensive selection of
highest-quality caskets for your consideration. There
is never any pressure to select one casket over another.
No matter how expensive or inexpensive the casket
you choose, you can be assured the quality of our
service and
committment
to you is unvarying. We welcome comparison of funeral
prices, but urge you to consider the complete cost:
casket and services. Most often, you will find our
complete charge compares favorably with other funeral
directors.
